Shadow Play at the Brunel Museum
Working with the Grade II Listed Brunel Museum, we created a very special piece tailored to the unique environment of the former entrance shaft to Thames Tunnel, Brunel’s engineering marvel.
Four outstanding visual artists – Amelie Hegardt, Laurence Owen, Sahar Ghanbari and Somang Lee – were selected to create unique visual moods that were animated, edited and performed by Anomalous Visuals. These films were designed to illustrate and accompany spell-binding performances picked from a range of musical genres: Finnish multimedia experimentalist HK119 and acid-jazz ensemble Off-Key He-Man, and singer-harpist Woodpecker Wooliams. To top it all off were cocktails and candlelight to make the evening a truly multi-sensory experience.
